If you do love reading, let’s get back to it…

The common thing that most people think is that we are either born with confidence, we either have it or we don’t have it.

We think that some people have it and they’ve always had confidence and so it’s easy for them to succeed with all that confidence that they have.

But that’s not the case.

If that were true, then everyone who was ever shy or unsure of themselves would stay that way for their entire lives but we all know that doesn’t happen.

There are lots of people that are able to get comfortable speaking on stage when at one point in their lives they would have never imagined themselves doing that.

It’s definitely possible to build up your confidence and do it quickly.

The truth is that confidence is something that you get from pushing yourself out of your comfort zone before you have the confidence to really do that.

You have to believe ahead of time that you’re going to be able to do it. You do it before you’re ready to do it.

And yes, it’s scary.

How people who are shy or confident before built up their confidence to start with is by doing things that scared them over and over again.

Let’s take the example of parallel parking your car.

Did you ever have to parallel park a vehicle?

Have you ever had to do that?

I remember the first time that I had to do it I was scared I was going to hit the other car, I was scared I was going to crash into the curb.

I had never done it before so of course, I was going to not know how to do it and it was going to be scary.

I was afraid I was going to mess up.

The first few times I did it it was a little bit wonky, it wasn’t very good. I kind of sucked.

But after doing it again, and again, and again, I am now pretty good at it.

And I can say that I’m probably the best female parallel parker in my family. I definitely was not born with the skill of being able to parallel park just like you probably were not born with the skill of doing well in interviews.

You’re probably scared you’re going to mess it up. And that’s why you’re nervous and that’s completely normal.

The way to handle your nerves is to keep going on interviews, keep putting yourself into the situation where you are going to be talking to new people who are either in the position to hire you or introduce you to somebody who can.

The way that you will do this is you’re going to get hired because somebody is going to hire you because you met them right?

You’re going to have to meet more people in order to increase your chances of getting hired. That’s why my system works really, really well.
